Cuyahoga Valley NP

When I decided to leave Ohio, I had a small bucket list of things to accomplish before moving on. I wanted to see the sunrise on Lake Erie and visit the national parks in and near Ohio. I visited Cuyahoga Valley and I’m headed to New River Gorge in August! I have a huge list of things to do and see up in Minnesota and the Great Lakes region and I can’t wait to continue exploring.

Cuyahoga was interesting - it was a hot day when I went, but it was still cute. There’s a huge trail system and plenty of history. I’d go back in the cooler months to enjoy the walks a bit more. Overall, if I lived nearby I’d be there all the time walking along the river. To go there as a tourist, it’s just not my jam. I walked to Brandywine Falls and it was pretty, but crowded, and the people were less than pleasant to be around on that day.
