Outdoor benefits of weighing less:

  • Can sit in most camping chairs, hammocks, etc.

  • Can use most canoes and kayaks

  • Will fit into outdoor gear/clothing

  • Will be able to ride a bike without fear

Outdoor benefits of being more physically capable:

  • Will be able to go further

  • More nimble/agile

  • Less lethargic

  • Higher energy

  • Access more places

  • Less chance of altitude sickness

  • Endurance in the elements

  • Breathe easier

  • Peace of mind
